The display of the quiz is implemented as a player plugin, however, in order for it to work, the Kaltura server is needed as that plugin makes API calls to load the quizzes and update the results, etc.
In addition, while since our Core is FOSS and you can make whatever applications you'd like by making API calls to the server, if you also want a ready made UI for creating quizzes, you will need to purchase Kaltura Media Space.
