DASH DRM player support

Hi all,

One of my customers is asking for DRM protection for his Premium content. Does the html5 player need a separate plugin for playing CENC encrypted files and connecting to a third party DRM service?

I have checked a plugin named dash-everywhere but since it's relatively expensive I'm not sure if I absolutely need it or not.
