The current player [v2.48.1] should no longer require Flash and uses HLS.JS to playback HLS.
The errors attached in your log are related to an attempt to make calls to the 'analytics' and liveStats APIs, which are indeed missing from the current CE but that should not cause any playback issues.
In order to debug, it would be useful if you can provide a URL to an embedded player. In the event it cannot be accessed from the world, I suggest you open your browser's devtools. hit play and check both the "Console" and "Network" tabs for errors. In the Console tab, you should also see the exact player version, which I assume is v2.48.1 since you're running 12.4.0.
